What the Democrats don’t want you to know about the Archer interview
Democrats continue to protect the Biden crime family with blatant lies that no one with the ability to think for themselves can possibly believe

Former Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer spent nearly five hours before the House Oversight Committee Monday, confirming pre-interview leaks that he had witnessed Hunter Biden dial up his then vice-president dad over 20 times to bring him into business meetings overseas.
Afterwards, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) came out of the interview to stand before a phalanx of microphones to tell the Leftists media all he did was talk about the weather during those calls.
So no big deal, right? There’s “no there there” or, as Leftist Democrats love to say, “it’s a nothing burger.” Right?
Bullshit.
Sorry for the language, but by Hunter just being able to dial up the vice-president of the United States, Joe Biden, he proved he had the access he was telling the other participants in those meetings he had.
As Archer confirmed to Committee Chair Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) it was selling them on Hunter’s access to power. That was the only commodity the younger Biden had to sell.
But to borrow from the infomercials, “But wait! There’s more!”
The transcript of the Archer interview was released by the Oversight Committee Thursday morning. Archer told congressional investigators that Hunter Biden used the Vice President as "defensive leverage" to send "the right signals" to his foreign business partners, while selling him as "the brand" that offered "capabilities and reach," as well as a "unique understanding of D.C."
Archer told investigators that Hunter Biden used his "very powerful name" to "add value" in pitching and securing foreign business ventures. Hunter "would not be so overt," or "overtly" say "we’re going to use my dad for this," Archer said, but instead told those at his meetings that he would use the name to "get leverage."
"Defensive leverage that the value is there in his work," Archer said.
"The value that Hunter Biden brought to it was having ― you know, there was — the theoretical was corporate governance, but obviously, given the brand, that was a large part of the value," he continued. "I don’t think it was the sole value, but I do think that was a key component of the value."
That is what Democrats don’t want to give you time to think about. Just imagine being in such a meeting yourself. Someone who isn’t in government, who has no huge corporate backing ― who, quite frankly, seems a little shady and not that competent ― pulls out his cell phone. He dials a number and puts the phone on speaker. And the next voice you hear is that of the vice-president of the United States.
Be real. That would impress the hell out of you, regardless of your politics. It might even convince you to let this talentless, incompetent possible thug the chance to do what he’s claiming he can do.
Now consider who Hunter Biden was actually dealing with ― not upstanding citizens of their countries, but people who are already looking for a way out of legal problem, or who are seeking protection from law enforcement while acting illegally, or dishonest politicians who want access to power.
All Hunter Biden had to do dial a number and put the vice-president on speaker, Maybe he did talk about the weather, or the Orioles game the night before. So what? This person ― whom Burisma’s former CEO Myloka Zlochevsky called “dumber than my dog” ― could call up the vice-president of the United States and Joe Biden would answer. Immediately.

That’s called power. That’s what Archer termed “defensive leverage.” Hunter Biden, according to Archer, was selling “the brand” and that brand was Joe Biden.
“Obviously, that brought the most value to the brand … It was Hunter Biden and [Joe]," Archer is quoted in the transcript as saying. "We would discuss having, you know, an understanding of D.C. and that was a differentiating component of us being able to raise capital."
Again quoting from the transcript, when asked if Archer and Hunter Biden would tell business partners they had "unique access" because of Vice President Biden, Archer said: "Yes, we would say we had unique understanding of D.C. and how it operates and how that, you know, could positively reflect on the terms of our business."
That is not a “nothing burger.” Calling up the vice president following a lengthy sales pitch bragging on how the team of Biden, Archer and Biden had a “unique understanding” of how our government works ― just to talk about the weather! ― is a powerful closing statement. It sells “the brand.”
If that is not enough for you, Archer confirmed that Joe Biden’s participation in selling “the brand” involved more than phone calls about the weather. He said Biden met on several occasions with his and Hunter Biden’s business partners.
Apparently the Bidens love the high-end restaurant Café Milano in Washington, D.C. Archer described two meetings at the locale that Joe Biden attended.
One dinner, Archer recalled, took place in the spring of 2014 at Cafe Milano in Washington D.C.’s Georgetown neighborhood. Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Archer, Eric Schwerin, the mayor of Moscow’s wife Yelena Baturina, and other business partners attended.
That dinner took place just weeks after Baturina wired $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton — an LLC linked to Hunter Biden and his associates.
Regarding Burisma, Archer recalled a dinner in the spring of 2015, again at Cafe Milano. This time, Archer said Vadym Pozharskyi — an executive at Burisma — attended the dinner.
Archer testified that he and Hunter Biden attended a board of directors meeting in Dubai on Dec. 4, 2015. On the sidelines of that meeting, Archer testified that Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky and Vadym Pozharskyi asked Hunter to make a phone call to "D.C" to address "pressure" the company was facing."
Archer said Burisma had "several pressure issues," saying that was "kind of a theme" of the company, noting the issues involved 23 million pounds of "capital tied up in London," U.S. visa issues, and the Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the firm.
"They requested Hunter, you know, help them with some of that pressure," Archer said. "You know, government pressure from Ukrainian government investigations into Mykola, et cetera."
On Nov. 2, 2015, just weeks before the board meeting in Dubai, Pozharskyi emailed Hunter Biden, emphasizing that the "ultimate purpose" of the agreement to have Hunter on the board was to shut down "any cases/pursuits against Nikolay in Ukraine," referring to Zlochevsky, who also went by Nikolay.
"The request is like, can D.C. help?" Archer said, adding, though, that the request was not specific to "can the big guy help."
"It was always this amorphous, can we get help in D.C.?"
Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month. Rep. Jim Jordan pressed Archer, saying: "The request was help from the United States Government to deal with the pressure they were under from their prosecutor, and that entailed the freezing of assets at the London bank and other things that were going on in Ukraine?"
"Correct," Archer said.
When asked why Burisma would ask Hunter for help, Archer said he was "a lobbyist and an expert and obviously he carried, you know, a very powerful name."
"That’s what they were asking for," he said.
After the Burisma executives asked for help, Hunter "called his dad," Archer said, adding that he "did not hear this phone call."
When asked if Hunter Biden calling the vice president of the United States to "do something" about the pressure Burisma was facing would "cause off some serious alarm bells for influence peddling, conflicts of interest," Archer testified: "Right."
Devon Archer testified that he was "left out" of "black box D.C. types of conversations." HE confirmed, however, that just five days after Hunter Biden called then-Vice President Joe Biden from Dubai, Joe Biden took a trip to Ukraine.
Then-Vice President Biden bragged in January 2018 about demanding Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma at the time, Viktor Shokin. Biden told Poroshenko his country would not get $1 billion in critical U.S. aid unless Shokin was canned. Poroshenko complied.
But an unclassified FBI FD-1023 form that Senate Judiciary ranking member Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) released last week contained allegations that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden "coerced" Zlochevsky to pay them millions of dollars in exchange for their help in getting Shokin fired.
Archer was asked about the call Hunter Biden made on Zhochevsky’s behalf but said he was generally kept out of the "black box D.C. types of conversations."
Democrats have decided that no matter what is said against the Bidens or their corrupt strategy in trying to ruin former President Donald Trump so as to prevent him from being reelected, they will lie about it. Despite their lies being obvious lies with no basis in truth, they will continue to tell them regardless of proof otherwise.
That is what Dan Goldman did Monday. This transcript prove he lied. But that will not stop him and other Democrats from continuing to lie.
The worst part of this strategy is that most Democrats and an unfortunate number of independents believe the lies. They have become willing sheep, too stupid to save themselves from disaster. Because the more people refuse to see the truth, the closer we draw to the brink of extinction as a democratic nation.
Don’t be one of the sheep.
